And I have this amount of time to dedicate to this activity.
But where on earth do I start?

Firstly it’s better than I expected.
But then I change my mind and decided that 16 ideas in one blog post was going to be too many.
So I asked: Great stuff. Can you filter it down to the 3 most important points from that list?
It came back with:
Absolutely, here are the three most crucial points from the list:
1. Understanding Affiliate Marketing: Before diving into affiliate marketing, equip yourself with a thorough understanding of what it is, how it works, and what you can expect. This includes choosing the right program suited to your niche, understanding profit models, and gaining insights into market trends. 2.Building a Strong Audience Base & Promoting Products: Your audience is your greatest asset in affiliate marketing. It’s essential to foster your audience through engaging, quality content, effective communication, and ethical marketing practices. In addition, you must master how to effectively promote products using various strategies like SEO, email marketing, and social media channels. 3.Patience and Consistency: Success in affiliate marketing doesn’t come overnight. It’s a long-term commitment that requires patience, consistency, and a constant thirst for learning. Regularly monitoring your progress, adapting to changes, and making necessary improvements are essential elements for success in this field.
There may be a better list.
But what a great starting point.
No blank page of doom.
I can revise the list as I go.
Do you see the power here?
It gets me started.
It kickstarts the action.
And that could be a(real human) accountability partner, a motivational book, or even one of those desk calendars that gives you an inspiring quote every day.
I can use chat GPT as a basic starting point to work from, adapt, and make my own.
My Prompt Microsoft designer : Please create an image of a content creator no longer scratching their head staring at the terrifying blank screen, because they are using Chat GPT.
I expanded my thinking…
I asked: From the 3 points above can you give me the SEO keywords I would need to rank on Google.
And the reply:
Sure, here are a number of SEO keywords that you might want to incorporate into your blog post to improve your Google ranking: “Affiliate Marketing”, “Affiliate Programs”, “Affiliate Marketing for Beginners”, “How to Start Affiliate Marketing”, “Building an Audience for Affiliate Marketing”, “Product Promotion Strategies”, “SEO for Affiliate Marketing”, “Email Marketing for Affiliates”, “Social Media Affiliate Marketing”, “Success in Affiliate Marketing”, “Consistency in Affiliate Marketing”, “Monitoring Affiliate Marketing Progress”, “Affiliate Marketing Tips”, “Affiliate Marketing Trends”, “Ethical Affiliate Marketing Practices.” Remember, using these keywords in your content does not guarantee higher rankings. Google values high-quality content and positive user experience above all. So, it’s essential to use these keywords naturally within your content.
It’s long-winded, but I take it as a starting point over a blank page any day, wouldn’t you?
You follow what I’m doing here?
I’m using AI to get past the mental logjams that stop me from starting a project.
To overcome the blank pages and the lack of initial ideas. And not knowing I would start.
The finished work, blog post, and SEO wordlist, would all have to be adapted and rewritten from the original chat GPT responses.
But as an additional ‘starting gun’ to get you moving?
Well I think it’s really useful.
